Is there anyway to copy a hole (general, drill, screw, threaded, etc) from one part to another part in a separate file? If not, then is there a way to copy the properties of the hole that I want to duplicate and paste those properties into an existing hole in another part in a separate file?

Thank you,
Trent

Have you tried to 'Copy & Paste' the Hole feature?

Yes, but with no success. I right click on the hole that I want to copy and select copy. Now, where do I paste that to?

Paste it into the part file that contains the body you want to add the hole to (subtract the hole from?). When you perform the paste operation, a dialog will open allowing you to specify the necessary equivalent references in the new file (placement plane, direction references, body, etc).

You need to have both parts open in the same NX session. ( The "copy" is only active as long as the master file is open. DO NOT close this file before pasting.)
Open part to copy from , Copy .
Window- pick the receiver part.
Paste.

Should work.
