Hello, i hope you can help me. I'm an electrical engineer and i'm trying to calculate the heat losses of a copper busbar due to current conduction.
I have to modify an old spreadsheet and i have found that there are some formulas that don't match with what i have found on the literature, so i was hoping you could help me understand them.

First, the total heat loss is divided in three factors: radiation losses, internal convection losses and external convection losses.

With the radiation losses i have no problem, because is the typical Kirchhoff law, but considering the emissivity and the cavity emissivity factors.

The problem comes when i try to break apart the internal and external convection losses, because i have found nothing that divides the convection losses on internal and external. The formulas are attached, so i hope someone could guide me.

Thank you very much.
