Coordinite Measurement Machine?????

Please someone tell me that they are very fimiliar with the CMM. My companies tech. is on sick leave. The manufacturer of the machine is Mitutoyo. First of all I would like to know how to save points once selected by the probe. Second, I would like to know how to how to use these points with the software(Cosmos V2.0R Edition 3) given to generate an exact replica of the object. Any insight into this would be of great help.

If your company wants you to do what you ask about, then they should hire a field support technician from Mitutoyo that stays with you a couple of days to teach the basics. Then you can take it from there, using manuals and the Mitutoy training material.
