cooling pond performance

Hi all,

I'm currently trying to model a cooling pond, but I can't seem to find a simplified model. Does anyone have a spreadsheet that calculates the outflow temperature depending on the pond size, air temperature and pressure, etc., or a document describing the basic equations used to calculate cooling pond performances??

You will find this in ASHRAE volumes for calculating latent load in swimming pools.

see thread194-186379. You can Google the MIT -doe reports on the computer program called MITEMP, or get the EPRI report cited in the thread.

I have tried to find the EPRI report, but it doesn't seem to be available on the internet. Am I just looking in the wrong places or can it be found on the internet?

The epri report is not n the internet,unless you have an epri memebership. The MIT Mitemp report summary can be found, though
