Convert Mesh to Surface or Solid

Hi, everyone.

I have a igs mesh file that I have imported into ANSYS. I wanted to know if there is some way to have ANSYS convert the mesh into some type of surface or solid body. I have SolidWorks also installed so I can use the ANSYS workbench and communication between them, but I'm not having any luck at the moment getting a surface or solid out of the original mesh.
