Hey guys first time posting,

Here is the scenario:

A truck is filled with liq solution, they will use air at 25 psig to push the liq out into a pipe and to a tank.

I need to calculate a liq flow rate out of the truck to the tank. I have calculated the max flow thru the pipe from the truck to vessel by adjusting the flow rate to get a max delta P.
So now I need to know if the air regulator providing air at 20 psig is enough instrument air to meet that max flow or if it will be less.
How do I take that max liq flow and convert to an equivalent air flow so I can compare that against what the regulator will provide using the Cv etc?

If you have calculated "x" ft³/min of liquid flow, then you will need "x" ft³/min of air as well. You need the same volume of air as liquid.

You will need to have a profile too. 20 psi air may not push the liquid to the top of the vessel.
