It is possible to insert bends after combining the two flat pieces. At that point the model must be converted into a sheet metal part to insert bends. The flaw in this is that SW does not recognize the separate bodies as part of the sheet metal piece.
It would be best to use the fillet bodies (or their sketch) as reference, insert bends as needed, then create the filleted bodies in relation to how the piece is bent.
