Hello,

Sorry it is my third thread on the subject but I was unable to find the answer anywhere.

I run my optimization and the log ends on a positive note:
"OPTIMIZATION HAS CONVERGED.
FEASIBLE DESIGN."

Yet, in Hyperview no matter the iteration the density of my elements is never close to 1. On the 80th and last iteration I get about 0.02 density for the first elements to even display. Therefore, if the design has converged and meets the requirements, what density is supposed to give me my solution? Or is something wrong?

Hi, I got a bit of help and will post the answer:

In my model I posed the constraint on a node that will not have much movement and also my constraint was far too easy to meet. While it may sounds like it may help, the program seemingly doesn't know what's needed in the solution.

I changed my displacement constraint to a node that is more prone to displacement and the lower I put my displacement constraint, the more polarized my answer is (which is what it is supposed to be).

I hope this will help anyone with the same problem in the future!
