Control Logix CPU to control remote Siemens I/O S5-S7

Good morning
Is it possible to have a central rack with 1756-L55 CLX controlller and connect this via network with remote I/O of Siemens type S5 and S7 in order to control and monitor this equipment? What are the things should i consider : new hardware, new software etc.

If the Siemens RIO has a Profibus interface (most S7 does) then yes. You will need a SST/Woodhead SST-CLX-PFB card.
