Hi
I am looking to run some low level tests. 5-250Hz 2g sine and 7g random.
Now i was using 500mv/g accelerometers for control. However due to the payload having some high level transients at the low frequency range, these control channels are not performing well.
I have looked to use 10mv/g acc's however these do not provide sufficent dynamic range for the test.
I know that Random transients are not controllable and can saturate instrumentation. However would appreciate any input you guys may have with regard to experience or trials i could carry out.
E.G would charge acc's with an independant conditioning amplifier have any benifit over IEPE accs in this case?
Thank You
