contour error - shift+ok

sometimes in autocad 2007 when i open a drawing i get a aec assert error and have to press shift+ok to suppress futures instances of this assertion failure for this session. it says file: ./src/contours/aecdbviewcontour.cppline:359 does anyone know how to correct this?
