I have been trying to model a slip joint. I have been able to model it but there is something going wrong with my contact and because of which my model fails at 0.2ksi stress whereas the yield stress is 65ksi. I have used surface to surface interaction with adjustment to remove overclosure. I have used contact tracking of two path configuration. Also my step time period is 1 with a step increment of min 1e-15 and max is 0.1 with increment value of 0.1 for maximum of 5000 increments. As I increase my load i get the error of too many attempts made for this increment. Kindly help
