Hi Folks,

I'm looking for contact thermal resistance (degC/Watt) of thermal grease of a specified thickness between two rigid metal plates with variable pressure (from fasteners).

Also, how about the dry contact resistance (degC/Watt) between the same plates with variable plate flatness and plate surface finish?

Thanks in advance!

Bruce

Much depends on how thin you get the layer, though. It's supposed to be only thick enough to fill in the crevices. Typically, that's a time consuming effort, so few people do that.
