I am student (mechanical engineering) and I already worked with Siemens NX8 (Modeling and Motion Simulation).
For my own interest, I want to create a model in Advanced Simulation (NX8):
"A sphere falling on a thin deformable plate." (picture below)
But everytime I start the solution, the sphere falls down through the plate...but there is no contact between the two bodies...
How can I create a contact? There are some ways I tried, but it doesn´t worked...(I tried Surface-to-Surface-Contact...no contact...)
Does anyone has a tutorial, where I can learn on my own, how to create a contact between to bodies? If not, can someone explain how to solve it?
It would be great to get some information, thank you for your help
