A lump of saturated clay with the specific weight of 19 kN/m2, liquid limit of 52, plastic limit of 31, amout of humidity measured to be 30%, while the specific density happens to be 2.7. According to the consolidation test in the laboratory, pre-consolidation pressure measured to be 257.4 kN/m2 in the depth of 20m. Calculate the undrained shear strengh??

Is this a homework problem? If so, not to be posted . . . but (Su divided by(effective Overburden pressure)) approximately equal to 0.23.
