Anyone know what the light green "down arrow" and "+" to the left of the config name in the config mgr means?

Not sure if it is an arrow or not but that's what it looks like to me.

Thanks,
Mike

The "green down arrow" means there are "derived configurations".
And hit the plus sign to access the "Display States"

Remember...

I appreciate the input, but I am not talking about the clickable navigation "+" sign. It is one icon which contains a "+" sign and a green down arrow. The icon is between the navigation "+" and the config name. The particular ones that show this icon do not have derived configs. When I do a test and add a derived config, I see what you are saying that it has the same icon, but when I delete the derivative, icon gone. But these other ones are for sure not derivatives and do not have any derivatives and the icon is still there.

Maybe some other parametric link causing it?

Thanks again,
Mike

Try posting an image... I am not following what you are saying.

see FAQ on how to post and image.

This work ? (First time posting image so I hope it works)

The "C-300-S-116" top-level config contains a derived config ("Test") for to show the icon is present when derived config exists. The one that shows the icon with no apparent derivative implications is the "C-300-S-118" top-level config.

Interesting note: One other top-level config was doing what "... -118 ..." is doing a little earlier and now all of a sudden it is not. Something I'm missing here, but dont know what.

Thanks again,
Mike

The Green Down arrow indicates an Exploded view... if you are talking about the plus sign right where the green arrow is at, that is just part of the icon with the green arrow.

I see what you are saying, and I dont mean to beat a dead horse, but I made an exploded config and you can see that all icon indications are like you say, but still in the config that does not have exploded view, it has icon saying it is. Again, not trying to be difficult, just trying to understand as thoroughly as possible. I wonder if it is because I have limit mates in it ??? Sorry about the image, but still shows the situation ...

Thanks again, just trying to understand, I'll drop it now though ... reply if you want,

Thanks,
Mike

The best way to test that is for you to delete the Limit mate and click over to the config Icon and see if it's still there. If not then you have your answer, if so then it's something else.

You can alwasy undo or not save the file after you delete the mate.

Yeah, I tried with supressing mate earlier and it did not remove icon. I will try deleting ... I'm suspecting little bug or some obscure parametric link.

Thanks again, I appreciate all the effort,
Mike
