conecting two midimaster

i have two midimasters and i want to connect them so i can control the two at one time...

what is the best way to do this

I don't even have any idea what this is, but I have a solution that may work. Try using an opto isolator like a 4N35. Use the transistor section to source the current/voltage to the input of the control. One can have a fixed resistor and the other control variable on the input. Adjust so they both controls track. Place the two LED sections in series and vary the current to them from wharever source. This method will provide electrical isolation for the two controlers.

Or use a proprietary 4-20mA loop repeater for the same purpose. The linearity will almost certainly be better, but will cost more than OperaHouse's suggestion.

Wire your digital signals through interposing relays.

Presumably you are not considering connecting the two outputs together?

This is for two motors for a big ventilator

Are you talking about Emerson's MidiMaestro and MaxiMaestro servo drives and you want to drive 2 motors in torque sharing mode? If so, you would wire 1 personality board for velocity input mode and that will be the master drive. You then wire the other personality board for torque/current proportional to voltage applied at the current/torque terminal. You then connect the signal grounds together and then connect the torque/current output of one drive to the other.

is this then with de Aout from the first and the A in from the second... and these are two midimaster vector i want to conect them because the have to run syncron...

The Midimaster is a Siemens product.

Thanks for clarifying the names. I have had some people mangle the names which creates confusion.

The Emerson drives of which I spoke are for DC motors - synchronoziation is NOT a problem in such an application.
