Hi, I have analysed a concrete slab with Concrete Damaged Plasticity. However the results have shown the plastic behaviour and it goes on and on without failure. My query is that how can i know the maximum loading and deflection when the concrete has failed. Perhaps, is that due to CDP is not a good option for analysing concrete slab?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

You should be looking at the values of different damage variables output by the concrete damage plasticity model i.e DAMAGEC, DAMAGET, SDEG. If there is no damage in the model, may be the material model parameters need recalibration.
