How do i connect a PCCP to an existing Ductile Iron pipe? pipe size is 400mm (16")

there are a variety of ways, all of which require a fabricated steel fitting which connects to your new pccp and with the appropriate end to connect to the existing ductile.

Most pressure concrete pipe manufacturers can make a fitting as cvg describes to transition from PCCP to DI or PVC. Basically it is a fitting that has one end that matches the PCCP, either bell or spigot, and the other end is steel that matches the diameter of the pipe you are connecting to. You then can use a solid sleeve or other type of coupling to connect them.

this is great thank you...
