Concrete on a slope

Hi Guys

I have in the past seen concrete being pired on slopes, generally not an issue, just reduce the slump. I have a case where the slope is 2:1, i.e. 2m horiz/1m vertical. Could this be problematic and what tips could you offer for pouring on a slope.

In this case the slab is 15m long on the slope from top to bottom.

I have seen sometimes horizontal wood formwork implements are placed at what will be the upper surface at regular intervals (akin to raisers in stairs). This way when dumping the concrete some kind of extruding to thickness device is in place.

Keep the slump low and keep the placement rate slow. Work side to side and up the slope. Don't let placement occur up and down the slope before going side to side.

We place concrete agitation ramps on 2:1 slopes on a regular basis. Like Ron said, low slump and from the bottom up. I think we typical end up using 3-4" slump concrete. It will be difficult to finish if you are looking for anything other than a screed finish.
