I have been using STAADpro2004 just to run analysis and use the results to do designs using spreadsheets. I now want to do my designs using STAAD but have been some challenges, one of which is:

when i have a concrete beam with a node(s) between supports, i cant find a command that will tell the program to use the full length of the beam rather than member lengths for deflection check, like the LY, LZ, KZ, etc in steel design.

Note: I use British codes (if that may mean anything)

Thank you.
