my company has two vertical compression moulders (not transfer moulders) which we are currently using for moulding electrical wiring accessories like plug tops, sockets and switches. the problem now is that we are importing the inside components thus the business is no longer viable as we can't even break even. what else can i manufacture with these machines.

presaldo,

To get an idea of the different types of parts you can manufacture, go to and type in "compression molded parts". Check-out what others are molding and once you have an idea of what niche you may best be able to fill, you would then be able to look for that type of business. Many times molders will post in the trade magazines, statements such as "We have open machine time".

Good Luck
