What type or size air compressor would I need to produce 20.87 cu. Ft/min? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

you need to define "at what pressure" you deliver the volume. Then look it up in an air compressor catalog, pick the next larger size.

You also need to know how long you need to flow your air. Is it short bursts, or is it 24-7? Your local retailer should be able to help you out.

Another consideration is the air receiver/tank.

Cal/OSHA is pretty good at finding laws to enforce.
Your air tank needs a permit and a (manufacturer provided) ASME stamp. Set it for 120 psi max; extra regulations above 125 psi.

Lots of other consideration if you need clean, dried air or have to install piping.
