I am modelling a composite with 8 layers in abaqus 6.7EF. I have divided a 3d solid part in 8 sections and assigned them proper material orientations. I am not using composite sections or composite layups as abaqus can not do a thermal analysis on those.
When I submit the job for analysis, I get warning "The following material orientations reference a datum system that is invalid, incomplete, or cannot be found in model." and the sections where I assigned materials orientations are listed. When I press OK, the model is solved without any errors. Does anyone know whats going on?
