please, i have a composite plate with 10 layers and the proporties of a lamina materiel with his fail stress. after that, i was testing loding the plate in the first directon with exceeding the fail stress value (in the same direction : tensile fail stress in the fiber direction)but i obtained an elastic behavior (stress vs strain in all the plys). Some is the loading i get no failure or fracture of the plate.
any one can help me please.
