I want to confirm if there is any difference between designing a composite steel beam with concrete slab
and the other option is:
instead of concrete slab what if I have only concrete beam.
I want them to behave as composite beam...so are the design steps and concepts same as in case of soild slab?
If they are same then I can use TATA BDES composite beam design tool and instead of 3m distributary width for slab on either side of beam, I can put half of the beam width dimension..right?
