Hi
I need to model a complex pulley system. It is a 4 way pulley but the upper and lower pulleys are not each on one axle as normal but separated. As the two sets of pulleys move closer the cable is at an angle.
Plus the load is provided by a constant torque on a drum around which the cable is wound.
I can model the cable path as a curve except that the length has to remain constant so the pulley lifts. Is this a graph or a relation?
