Dear everyone,
I have doubt regarding the design of column with shear wall. While modelling the building with shear wall, the columns attached to shear wall fails due to higher axial force and moment in the column. Increasing the size of column increases the force and thus fails again.
What are the possible solutions for this situation?

@ AniMhj (Civil/Environmental),
Your question is not clear with the limited information you have provided. If the columns are attached to the shear wall , it shall be modelled together .
Pls provide more details ( structural plan , detail of shear wall with column boundaries ..) to get better answers.

Use it up, wear it out;
Make it do, or do without.
