How do i get the colours i use on a part to be saved with it?

Everytime i exit ProE and re-open the part at a later date the only colour remaining is the default.

Also, how do i create a colour map?

Use pro_colormap_path in Options to point Pro/E to your color.map file. Otherwise make sure your color.map file is in the folder with all your other start-up files; config.pro, config.apm etc... When set, make sure you save your file otherwise colours will be lost. There are websites that will create a colormap file, can't think of any off top of my head but there are several sites that will do this for you.

Hi, we have to save the color map file in your's startup working directory, or if you want to start from different directory you have to copy all config files i.e. config.pro, config.win and color.map...etc
