I have a sample of some waste water that I need to recycle. It won't settle, so I suspect a colloidal suspension. I need to choose a flocculant so I was hoping to get a little insight on the net charge of these particles. Anionic? Cationic? My slurry contains more than likely a combination of Zirconia and Alumina. Any insight into the surface chemistry of these particles would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
