I am looking for the coefficient of friction for combinations of various materials on steel, inc. alum-bronze, gun-brass and 304 stainless steel. Does anyone know of a table of values that might include those I'm after?

Thanks in advance

Tony

Are you really looking for friction numbers? Very light loads and well prepared surfaces?
They are listed in the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics.
If you have enough load or motion that you expect wear, then you are not talking about simple friction any more and you need to find mixed couple wear data.

Corrosion never sleeps, but it can be managed.
