Has anybode heard of (novel) technology to remove CO2 (4-6 mol%) at well head (no bulky/complex equipment)? HP/HT conditions. Link to manuf. would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards

Morten Andersen

Can anyone tell me if there would be a corrosion concern for CO2, (0.54 mol%) in separator gas, (0.38 mol%) in separator liquid, and (0.572 mol%) in flash gas? Piping is A106. Guidance of any kind is appreciated, consultants in this area, etc.

Thanks,

Louis Routier III

It will depend op your operating pressure/temp. If you want to check it out yourself then the Norwegian Oil industri has a standard that comes with a spreadsheet for checking coorosion. But you have to have some starting knowledge.

best Regards

Morten

Marten,

Found it.

This article by TE Cooley and WL Dethloff of Grace Membrane System, Houston TX, in CEP October 1985 will interest you.

The flow scheme start from the wellhead to a heater treater, prefilter coalescer and finally to a membrane filter prior to sells.

Englehard has the Molecular Gate™ system for small rates.
