Hello Everyone
I am modeling CNTs (Carbon NanoTubes) using Abaqus, and Hypermesh.
Modeling is not an issue, but material properties is one that is creating problems, since CNTs are made of caron atoms, using Beam elments to represent the CNTs can I input the masses of each carbon atom and stiffness (extensional and rotation) since I know the bond length, instead of Youngs Moulus, and do a modal analysis and get the Natural frequency using *frequency, since for this type you don't need E.
Any ideas regarding this will help me a lot,
Thanks Srini
