Ok when i first installed AutoCAD 2008 I could select and do cntrl + C to copy objects, now when i cntrl + C after selecting objects to copy it deselects what i just selected and asks to select what you want to copy, and this just happend out of nowhere, any ideas? Ive tried different option settings, i still have no luck. Any help? Thanks

Goto Options >

> Selection tab >> and make sure the Noun/verb selection checkbox is checked. Usually, AutoCAD is set up so that you have to hold down shift to de-select objects; this checkbox changes it to the opposite, so you need to hold down shift to select more objects. I hope this is the issue and it works.

Well thank you for your response, however i have alreay tried that with no luck...

Is it on...

... a locked layer?
