CNC router vs. Water jet cutting for 1/2 inch plywood

Intricate cutting of pattern in 1/2 inch (4x8 ft)plywood sheets required, any recommendations as to best method?
 
Depends on the tightest radius of curvature you need, and how big a kerf you can tolerate.

Figure the router has to use a bit at least .25" diameter; the water jet's equivalent is less than a tenth of that.

Laser. That's what places that use plywood to make steel-rule dies use.
 
how much moisture does the edge of the plywood cut absorb and would you need to put it through a dryer or let it sit for a specific length of time or would that not matter?
