Hello! I'm a first time poster but I hope to spend a lot of time on the boards to help as much as I can (with my limited experience).
My question is:
I am helping evaluate CNC punch-press software for purchase at my company. As it stands now, we have our lead engineer do all the programmaing manually and send it (via disk) to the machine. As he is a busy man, we are hoping to pass the load on to others (like myself).
Currently we are looking at Radan and Sigmanest as punching solitions.
We currently use Sigmanest to nest on our lasers, and I am pretty happy with it thought I am not experienced in the indusrty.
Has anybody used either program for punching? Any and all help in this area would be extremely useful, I wouldn't mind shining with some great information while giving my report to the boss.
