There has been a lot of talk lately about the Virtual Engineering Model and how consulting firms will have to adapt to the model to survive. The only example I can think of where the Virtual model has been applied is in the design of the Boeing 777. Does anybody else know of other examples? Inparticular one which has been used at a Civil Engineering firm.
