If you are doing just modeling and don't keep in mind the process of how will it be manufactured then all methods are correct.


If you keep in mind the manufacturing then you should follow the manufacturing sequence.


Normally spacers are created by bending sheetmetal.

I would do steps 1 or 3 step 2 has two step so one extra feature for a simple part. I would not use sheetmetal even if it isa sheet meatal part.
