Chlorides and F6NM

I know that 410SS readily pits in chloride service, and I read somewhere that CA6NM and F6NM are more corrosion resistant in chlorides than 410. Is this a marginal improvement, or can F6NM be used in services with intermittent high chlorides? In my searches, I cannot find any information regarding F6NM and chlorides.
 
Try looking for information on CA6NM. It is the much more common alloy, and more information should be available
 
F6NM has a small amount of Mo (0.6%) and Ni (4%). In my opinion this will give some improvements regarding corrosion in chlorides environments but is not easy to tell how much it will resist and at which Cl concentrations. It depended on what you consider "high chlorides". Even a SS316 that has approx 2.5 Mo does not resist in "high chlorides" (high means above 500-1000 ppm Cl-).
