Hi,
I tried searching for equation or formula on how to obtain the channel velocity between the plate gaps of plate heat exchanger. So many equation I found from dividing mass flow rates into number of plate gaps then divide that by area and then there's where mass flow divide by density*number of gaps*gap area; just to name a few but the value seems irrelevant and incorrect.
Perhaps any of you stumbled upon the equation and formula and kind enough to share I would appreciate it a lot. I know this isn't rocket science but somehow I'm stuck at this point. Thank you very much in advance!![[bigsmile] [bigsmile] [bigsmile]](/data/assets/smilies/bigsmile.gif)
