Changing tyre pressures while in motion 2

Can anyone tell me how the Hummer can change tyre pressures while in motion?

No, but is an old trick. The WW2 DUKW could do this. It had a 2 cylinder air compressor, and used grease packed wheel hubs to distribute air into the rotating assembly. I think the air got from the body to the hub by tubes external to the body.

Apparently the air is ducted into the hubs, and then into the wheel via a self sealing quick release fitting.

Here in my country, Argentina, are a lot of truck and long distance buses with such device that keep and meassure all the tires pressure, an seldom they keep it inflating to compesate a leakege until they reach a service station.

The hummer's drivetrain is not on center of the axle, which allows for a rotary coupling to be inserted on the centerline of the wheel. Our company manufactures rotary couplings used for tire inflation systems, we have a patent on one coupling. There are other systems on the market, such as the Argentinian situation,which uses an external rotary coupling, with supply lines from the outside of the vehicle, to pressurize the tires.
With our coupling, the air is supplied through the axle.
