Changing to heavier impeller

What will happened if I change the impeller of centrifugal pump with another heavier and large chamber impeller?

I don't suspect much would change unless you're increasing the diameter. Trimming impellers is standard practice so changes in weight don't really affect anything provided you balance the impeller after trimming.

If the chamber is larger it will likely pump more fluid.
Then things depend on the head that the new one develops.
You may need more power, or something else may change.
Compare the pump curves.

A very open ended question without any real resolution, it will depend on manufacturer, model, required duty etc. Plus the best option to ask the manufacturer.
