Hello
As the title clearly states it , we are looking forward in changing the course of a stream along a bend. The stream is threatening the stability of a gabion wall that supports an electric power line of high voltage.

Since this is not proper soil mechanics or geotechnical engineering , i read about it and found that its way over my domain of expertise. Streams obey hydrodynamic processes
We want to make the stream follow a straight line rather then following the bend.
I was wondering what advises or directives can you give me
thanks

I'd see if there are publications from the US Bureau of Reclamation that may help. They also may have an engineer to advise
on these subjects.

I'd try this link. Note the place near the bottom to enter a message.
