Hi..

I am Using Ideas NX 11 and couldnt find the "tools" menu anywhere. I wanted to change the Dark Layout to windows looking layout. Is this possible to do on Unix/Solaris platforms?
Please Help..Thanks

Hello,

If I undersood well, you want to change the background color. If your are working in 3D (assembly, modeler...) then you can have a new menu with clicking CTRL+M. Then options and background color.

If you are working in 2D (masterdrafting) then you go to the top right, click OPTIONS (if you don't have this option menu, click PF) then interface and background color.

Regards

Thanks for your response...

Actually, its not the background color but the Layout.
In windows based I-DEAS, we can go to Tools--->Layout and change the layout to "windows-look like".
On Unix platform, I coudn't find the "Tools" menu itself.
I was wondering if there is any other way to change the layout to "windows-lool like" in UNIX.

Thanks,

No you can not change the layout. UNIX version of I-DEAS is motif based, so motif is the only layout. Windows version of I-DEAS is based on Windows win32 gui.
