chain movement

Hello all,
I would like to simulate a chain movement through a sketch like in the picture.

But, my question is how to simulate the movement through the sketch conserving the ray.

you can set a servo motor with a linear motion at the POINT B, and simulate a MECHANISM ANIMATION.

i am not sure it may follow the curve, but i had only tried to constrain the links in a way they will not turn over 180
