The principles of my firm have tasked me with obtaining my CFM license. I've started the research and found tons of material on FEMA's website. Any of you existing CFM's out there have advise on the best material to study to prep myself for the exam?

Try to get into some of the FEMA classes in MD if you can. They typically only allow 2 people per state/per class so it can be tough to get in without political ties. I'm probably going to do this next year. My colleague just did it, with very little effort other than the FEMA class and 25 years job experience.

What state are you in? In Texas the Texas Floodplain Management Association offers 4 day course multiple times throughout the year to "train" CFMs and prepare them for the exam.

In all honest, the exam is not that difficult. The training course materials can be download, and between that and reading Section 60 of 44 CFR, you will have all you need to know.
