Dear all,
does anyone has an answer to this two problems related to bush preload?
1 - in a 106 simulation, I modeled a nonlinear spring with a cbush with nonlinear F_VS_Displ dependency. Now I am looking to set a preload to this element, and I tried to set the curve to have a non-zero initial force (apply a phase shift to the function). In order to test the system I clamped the element at one end, with the other free, and I run the simulation. What happen is that the simulation show only half the expected displacement. Ideas??
2 - in a 601 simulation, I defined the above mentioned nonlinear spring (without preload), but the simulation use the stifness defined in the main CBUSH property table (note: the LGDISP is set to 1).
Thanks in advance
Best regards
