Assuming we rule out very high ambient temperature, you need to check your charger. If you can see excessive bubbling within the cells then that is sure sign that the charger is over-charging: the bubbles are dissociated water molecules being evolved as hydrogen and oxygen.
Check the SG of the electrolyte when you are adding water. If the SG is out of spec it will either reduce the energy storage capacity of the cells or it will lead to plate damage. The cell manufacturer will publish expected values, or upper and lower permissible limits, which will be quoted at a specific temperature. If your temperature is higher or lower than that used by the manufacturer you will need to apply a compensating factor.
