CATIA Step assembly to ProE Wildfire 3

I am having trouble with zooming when adding a CATIA step assembly to my pro/e wildfire 3 assembly. When I press down on the wheel (or middle mouse button) to rotate the image, it zooms way the heck out. When I click on refit object, it is still way out. I turn on axes to find the assemblies and then use the wheel to zoom back in to them. Are there any ways, in Pro/E or CATIA, to keep the way out zooming from happening in the first place? TIA. -J

There is probably a coordinate system in you Catia STEP file that is increasing the extents of you model. See if you can delete it.
