It opened for me, and I had a nice tree on the left, but nothing would display in the right-hand pane? Does it have to be on a computer with Catia installed on it?

No, but it must be on the local machine. crass MS fix for securtity hole is to prevent CHM opening from a remote location.

Thanks Eric, but I believe I can't attach a file there, maybe I can modify one of the FAQ to put a link to this thread.

Anyway, I will continue to add some other codes.

Any other ideas to improve that chm file?

Ferdo, you are welcome to put this on the CATBlog. Perhaps you want to consider making it the "Official Catia V5 Automation Wiki"?

At any rate, you can keep it there, and update the file as you wish.

Official Catia V5 Automation Wiki? Sounds nice but its a little bit to much for an amateur like me. Really.

I will send the file to Gehry Technologies, if they want to put it on gtwiki, it will be good for everybody.

Im having trouble with the CGR Script. It tells me document cannot be read then states an erroe on line 21 column 4. Will this script not work on assembly of multiple catparts

Hi,

If you are taking about BatchCatiaFiles2cgr_win.CATScript it worked very well for me, without any error, including for assemblies.

For sure you have a non-CATIA document in that folder (for example a pdf file) and that's why you get an error.

I should put a warning message at the start, maybe in a next version....
